Not a filler. A collagen builder.
Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable that prompts your skin to make its own collagen, restoring volume and firmness gradually over a few months. Results can last two years or more.
Rebuilds volume from the inside
Hyaluronic acid filler adds volume the day you're treated. Sculptra works differently. It's made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biodegradable material used in medicine for decades, and it signals your skin to make new collagen over the following months.
There's no instant result, and that's the point. The change comes slowly, so it looks like you, just more rested and supported. Many people use Sculptra for structure and HA filler for fine-tuning.

About an hour, then patience
Sculptra is injected by our nurse practitioners, Natasha Sherrill, FNP-C, and Brie Freckleton, AGACNP.
Your injector looks at where volume has changed and plans how many vials you're likely to need.
Topical numbing goes on first, and the product is mixed with lidocaine for comfort.
Sculptra is placed deep in the treatment areas. Expect brief pinches and pressure.
We massage the areas before you leave and show you how to do it at home.
Massage the treated areas for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days. It spreads the product evenly and lowers the risk of small bumps. It's the most important part of your aftercare.
Results that build
You'll look fuller at first from the water in the product. That isn't your result, and it goes down within a few days.
New collagen starts to show. This is usually when your next session lands.
Volume, firmness, and skin quality keep improving with each session.
Most visible around a year. Results can last two years or more.
Sculptra is the treatment for people who don't want anyone to notice they had something done. If you need a change by next weekend, filler is the better choice, and I'll tell you that.

Sculptra, answered
How is Sculptra different from dermal filler?
HA filler adds volume immediately and is gradually absorbed. Sculptra adds little volume on the day; instead it prompts your skin to make new collagen over the next few months. It's slower, but results can last two years or more. Many people combine the two. More on facial balancing with filler.
How many vials of Sculptra will I need?
Most people receive two to three vials per session over two to three sessions. It depends on how much volume has changed and which areas are treated. The Sculptra Structure package, four vials over two sessions, is the starting point for most people.
How long do Sculptra results last?
In clinical studies, results lasted up to about two years, and many people see them last longer. The fullest result usually shows around 12 months. A maintenance session every year or two helps hold it.
Does Sculptra hurt?
We use topical numbing, and Sculptra is mixed with lidocaine. Most people feel brief pinches and pressure. Some tenderness, swelling, or bruising for a few days is normal.
When will I see results?
The fullness right after treatment is swelling and fades within a few days. Real change usually starts showing around six to eight weeks and keeps building, with the fullest result around a year.
Can Sculptra be combined with other treatments?
Yes. RF microneedling firms the skin over the volume Sculptra rebuilds. Neuromodulators like Botox soften movement lines, and HA filler handles precise detail. We'll help you plan the order.
What should I avoid before and after Sculptra?
For a week before, avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and alcohol if you can, to lower bruising. Afterward, follow the 5-5-5 massage rule and skip saunas, hard workouts, and strong sun for 24 to 48 hours. You'll get written instructions at your visit.
Is Sculptra FDA-approved?
Yes. Sculptra Aesthetic is FDA-approved for correcting shallow to deep nasolabial folds and other facial wrinkles, and for fine lines and wrinkles in the cheek area. Its ingredient, poly-L-lactic acid, is the same material used in dissolvable stitches.
